Foster a pet

Cruelty to animals and domestic abuse often go hand in hand.

In a home where abuse is happening, pets are at real risk too. If you’re worried about your pets being hurt or if you’ve nowhere for them to go should you need to leave, this might stop you doing anything. Most refuges and hostels can’t take animals but our Pet Foster Project can help. Our project finds foster homes for family pets so women and their children can leave and be safe.

How it works

By fostering a family pet you’ll provide a real life-line to a family in need. Fostering can be for any length of time that suits you and if you’re going on holiday we can arrange cover. There’s nothing to pay with food and vets bills being met for by the project and the family.

All you need to provide is room in your life and cuddles.

We work with animals across Nottinghamshire and also in parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

Testimonial Speech Marks
