Reports and Briefings
A list of reports, consultation responses and briefings Juno Women's Aid has partaken.
The recommendations outlined in this report are directed at improving workplace culture and fine-tuning policies and procedures across the multi-faceted UK workforce. The recommendations also acknowledge the difficulties for both employer and employer during lockdown and further coronavirus related circumstances, where survivors are working from home.
Juno worked alongside the Centre for Women's Justice calling for a free-standing offence of non-fatal strangulation or asphyxiation. We believe that this form of offending is currently significantly under-charged across the UK.
All of Women's Aid's work is underpinned by a solid evidence base. Throughout the year they conduct research projects, support research in universities and publish data on key issues to ensure that they are leading the way in evidence and data on domestic abuse.
Safe Lives is a UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse, for everyone and for good. Their comprehensive and resourceful website also houses informative research and publications.
Southall Black Sister's campaigns are an essential component of their work and stem directly from the daily experiences of the women who use their services. Their campaigns either focus on the circumstances and issues involved in a particular case or highlight broader issues of public interest in respect of justice and equality.
