The service will support children and young people with family and civil court proceedings where domestic abuse is a presenting or historical factor.
The support includes helping children and young people with their interaction with the family court system.
This service will ensure children and young people receive an appropriate level of support from the point of applying or being informed of an application, during the court process and longer term where necessary.
This also includes supporting children who have parents going through family court and who might be witnessing the effects of family court within their household.
