Bloom Counselling Service -County
Our counselling service provides a safe, confidential and trauma-informed space for women that have experienced domestic abuse living in Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe (South Nottinghamshire). We offer specialist support to help survivors process their experiences, build resilience, and regain a sense of control over their lives.
Who is our service for?
This service is available to Women who have accessed Juno’s services, aged 18+ and live in South Nottinghamshire.
The service is only suitable for women who are no longer in an abusive relationship that have a willingness and readiness to step towards healing from their past experiences.
- Women aged 18+
- Are survivors of domestic abuse – in all forms
- Live within our service area – Broxtowe, Ashfield, Gedling or Rushcliffe.
- Are no longer in an intimate partner DA relationship – relationship ended at least three months at point of referral.
- Are physically safe and in settled accommodation
- Are emotionally stable enough to engage in weekly counselling
- Are not experiencing immediate crisis or significant current risk

Our Approach
We believe in providing a person-centred, empowering and compassionate service tailored to the unique needs of each survivor.
Our trained counsellors use a trauma-informed approach, ensuring that support is delivered with sensitivity, understanding and respect.
We work collaboratively with survivors to help them feel heard, valued and supported on their journey to healing. Counsellors will recognise the impact of trauma on survivors and create a therapeutic environment that prioritises safety, choice and empowerment.
