Getting Help for Deaf & Hearing Impaired
We support deaf and hearing impaired women and children who have been affected by any form of domestic abuse. This support can be face to face, be via email or via SMS/Text message – whatever works best for you.
We can provide a BSL interpreter.
We have teams working with women and children across Nottingham city, Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, and Rushcliffe.

24 Hour Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence helpline
Our Helpline can provide support and referrals into our services and other services across Nottinghamshire. Deaf and hearing-impaired women can access the Helpline by

- Email: [email protected] daily, 9am – 9pm
Please note, we may not be able to respond to emails straight away, but will try to reply within 24 hours. The deaf health charity Signhealth also runs a domestic abuse support service using BSL called DeafHope. Find out more and view their BSL videos here.
