At Juno, we have two emergency refuge accommodation sites to suit various family sizes and single women. Learn more by clicking the links below.
Zola is our specialist BAME refuge with specialist staff who can support women’s language and cultural needs. The team consists of four refuge support workers, one team leader and a children’s worker who speak various south Asian languages.
Serenity is our dispersed refuge consisting of six properties, which accommodates up to six women and up to 31 children. The team consists of two refuge support workers, one team leader, and a children’s worker.
In response to COVID-19
We are still open and supporting women and children in refuge. Juno staff are in daily contact with all the women and children to ensure that they are safe and well. When a refuge vacancy arises, we are taking referrals via the helpline to meet the needs of women and children in crisis.
We've put together an Amazon wishlist for survivors and staff. The items in this wishlist can help ease anxiety and frustration, as well as help with the mental health and wellbeing of families, during lockdown. We've included some PPE equipment to help protect our support workers, too. There's something for every budget; if you could buy just one thing from this list, it will be very very much appreciated.
