The right to feel safe & get support

Survivor Advocacy Support City Service

We provide a confidential service to survivors of domestic abuse who are living in an abusive relationship or who have left their abusive partner.

Our aim is to accompany a woman through her journey. We offer a non-judgmental perspective and support, to give women back some of the control that may have been lost; we hope to guide women to rebuild their lives, their confidence and self-esteem through sensitively listening, advising and empowering.

The City Survivor Advocacy Support Service (City SASS) and Response to Complexity (R2C) service is for women who are experiencing, or who have experienced, domestic abuse in Nottingham City. We tailor support for women enabling them to sustain their accommodation, prevent homelessness and assist with resettlement and safety planning.

We have specialist services for BAME, Older Women (55+yrs) and Women with disabilities .

Our R2C Service is for women with complex needs and additional barriers other than domestic abuse.

Additionally we support women going into refuge, find alternative safe accommodation and enrol in The Freedom Programme or Own my Life Programme.
