Support for Children & Young People

Under 18's Specialist Support

Domestic abuse can directly affect children in a family home as well as teenagers in their own intimate relationships. At Juno, we provide specialist, trauma-informed services to aid children and teenagers in their healing process.

Children and Teen Service (County)

The Children and Teen Advocates, otherwise known as the CAT team, work with children and young people aged 5-17 years who have experienced domestic abuse within South Nottinghamshire. We work in the Boroughs of Ashfield, Rushcliffe, Broxtowe, and Gedling

Teen Advocate (City & County)

Support for 13-17 year olds (male and female) that are or have experienced abuse in their own intimate relationship, this can also include current abuse from a parent or sibling. Living in Nottingham City, Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe.

Family Court Service

The Family Court Support Service is for children and teens in both the county and city between ages 5-17 who have parents or are themselves going through Family Court as a result of domestic violence.

 

Juno Voices

Juno Voices is a youth forum for young people who have experienced domestic abuse from ages 13-18yrs living within Nottingham.

Knife Crime

Our Knife Crime Service is for children and teens in both the county and city between ages 5-17 who have witnessed domestic abuse that involves the use of a weapon.

Stronger Families

The Stronger Families programme is a therapeutic programme for children (aged 5 – 17) and their mothers who’ve experienced domestic abuse.
